Rural community self-financed projects (RUCOS) are a group of various projects emerging from the funds collected from the Solar Village for Quality Education project (SVQE) and one such project is Sports. This initiative aims to foster unity amongst villagers, encourage physical fitness, bring about positive behavioral change, and address youth unemployment.

On June 10th, Opulence organized a significant event – a donation day aimed at providing sports equipment to the 10 GVHs in our catchment area.
The event not only showcased Opulence’s commitment to community development but also served as a platform to engage and involve key stakeholders
Sports Equipment Donation-12/08/2023
The day commenced with a vibrant Volleyball showcase, setting the tone for a day filled with athletic prowess. An intense Netball match ensued, featuring the Chikwangula Netball team against the Katumbu Netball team. The sporting excitement continued with a U14 football match between Chimwendo U14 and Chikwawe U14 teams. The pinnacle of the day was a senior football match between Chimwendo FC and Mlangali FC, culminating in a tie.
